In South Beach Miami there's an art gallery in the Art Deco Welcome Center
A couple of samples from there
Snorkeling floaters
roped floaters (Oil on canvas)
Communal Segway riding at Collins Ave in Miami
And cops doing their surveying from what looked like large ATV's
Lilies in the water around the Holocaust Memorial. It's all I can bear to show from there.
Then we had a downpour that made cars all but swim, and this is the sky from the car window after it was over

(60,071 posts)That has been an adjustment. I'm loving the fast AF of the Sigma 19mm.
Images will be posted later.

(14,889 posts)the Miami airport and they do indeed have wonderful works of art displayed.
Your photos are great but your 'Lilies in the water" just blew me away! Everything is perfect . . . the sky, the reflection, the composition! Wonderful photo!

(22,380 posts)in this part of my presentations I was concerned about because it looks a bit blown out to me. Whatever that means. Yet I needed to in my own mind say I was there (again) and that I was not ready to show more.
All of my family were devastated by the impact of what we saw, especially my mother who is one of the few remaining Germans who lived through the Holocaust, after all, they are now dying out. She was just 19 at the end of the war in 1944.
I have known her to read stacks of books on the subject to make up for that at that age she could not figure out what was going on. And she is not in the least finished with that.
This forum we have here allows amateurish photos or I would never be able to entertain you.
Thanks.
