Finally caught a dragonfly (Damselfly)

All I had was my wide angle and no macro, so I cropped as much as I dared. they're skittish little devils.

A flower, or something acting like one. The plant world is tricky at times.

I particularly like the sharpness of the dragonfly. And the flower clearly (pun intended) stands out among the blurred background, the focal point of the photo.

Dragonflies are very illusive. Here is my one and only successful shot (posted here before). I haven't even had a good opportunity since then to capture one again.

5. The Bokeh is nice and creamy. I like that. Good job. The plant in the background left

is beautiful. It's like it was done in pastels.

On mine the Bokeh is determined by the fact its a 19mm (38mm on my m4/3 sensor). You have to be close to the subject to get any passable Bokeh.

along on your journeys, whether it be places, cameras or finally getting a photo of something you want. The dragonfly is great but I love the flower (?) even more. So many would skip it at this stage yet you captured the beauty of it. Someone once told me a flower is something you want where it is, a weed is anything you don't want where it is. Sometimes it is in the eye of the beholder.

But nothing that good.

(Light issues).

It was good practice though.

Great photos by the way.

11. It is..and it doesn't disappear as much in the light when it jumps around in flight.

Damselflies are much harder to capture. (I think)
