(19,459 posts)Lots of roads like this around here. At the right time of the day/week the traffic is minimal. And our weather right now is gorgeous. Upper 70's today, and it feels like early Spring.
Ducati conditions, indeed!

(348 posts)I remember when John Denver died. The news didn't spend much time on it at all which surprised me because everyone knew his songs.

(130,895 posts)and yes, everyone STILL knows his songs. I'll listen to this again, and then head for bed.

(19,459 posts)Mid-70's, feels like Spring. And we've had good rains, and things are beginning to bud out.
I'll try to remember to post a couple of images in September, when it's all smoke and flames...

(19,459 posts)We had good rainfall through Fall and Winter, and a couple of periods of weather in the 70's, so everything is budding out.
There is bound to be a burst of tall grass/undergrowth, followed by hot weather and everything drying out and turning brown. Fires generally follow afterward.

(86,581 posts)I like the shapes and the growth patterns of the black oaks. Can't walk around them to get in the shade without closed-toe shoes due to prickly things that they shed, but they're beautiful and surreal looking.
