I have a very steady hand - do well with no tripod - got the SX30 IS as well, but the SX10 has a better macro to my mind (which I use quite a bit)

The G1X looks great, but the lack of Macro would make me a reluctant customer.

I"ve gone M4/3, but could still go back to Canon if they made a camera with the GX1 sensor and interchangeable lenses.

edited to fix the Canon G1X and Lumix GX1 confusion.
