Brazos Drawbridge

We have been getting hammered with rain the last few days, and it is expected to continue through the weekend.

I've lived 60 years around these parts and never seen that bridge raise or lower.

At one time it was a turntable type of bridge. The original bridge was built in the 1880's; this one was put up in 1979.

I also like #3 a lot. I almost didn't include it because it looks best in a larger format, and scrolling is kind of a bummer.

And it has nothing to do with the quality of the image.
