Chihuly in the (Atlanta Botanical) Garden

Stunning glassworks, as always, and some nice flowers yesterday! The exhibit runs till 10/30/16.

The woman living sculpture is about 30 feet high.

Even I was hacking yesterday. Fortunately, it's a smallish price to pay for such lovely flowers and trees.

Thanks for the compliment!

I was there with some friends years ago--more than 10--when there was also a Chihuly exhibit. Pre-fire--for me--so no
photo memories as I was not yet using a digital camera.

How marvelous his work is, and so is yours. I was in Phoenix - I think it was there because it was 110 degrees, about 4-5 years ago - in the Botanical Gardens there, and Chihuly had interspersed his art in that place in the same way. I took photos til my hand hurt. It was my first exposure to his work, and now I can recognize ti from the folks who try to imitate him in no time flat.
Thanks for these. Makes me happy to see it.
