After the early morning thunderstorm

It woke me up at 5 am. I sat in the living room watching it roll out to sea. Some spectacular lightning strikes to the water. No, I did not go outside to try and get a shot.

This is what the clouds looked like over the ocean about 6:30 am

And then after the sun was up when Snowy and I went out for our walk about 6:40 am

I love being at the beach. It really soothes my soul to hear the rhythmic sound of the ocean waves breaking onshore and watch all the mood changes in the sea and sky.

It's the perfect time to collect sea shells. You got to get out early to beat the other collectors.
