It woke me up at 5 am. I sat in the living room watching it roll out to sea. Some spectacular lightning strikes to the water. No, I did not go outside to try and get a shot.
This is what the clouds looked like over the ocean about 6:30 am

I love being at the beach. It really soothes my soul to hear the rhythmic sound of the ocean waves breaking onshore and watch all the mood changes in the sea and sky.

Playing with the contrast and/or clarity might help bring out the cloud details in #1.
