I would so like to know the back story on this photograph.
I find it intriguing and very appropriate for the theme. An incredibly arresting image. Please tell!

I was down at my local pier, but the authorities had closed it. Why?

There was a ferocious storm out at sea, and the waves were quite high, even up to the pier where people walk. It was too dangerous to walk up there.

So everyone trooped down to the sand, and watched the waves from under the pier!

Yours truly too.

I took about 60 pictures! I really liked this one...

I grew up there but came out to NM in my 20's and am still here. I miss the NJ shore big time.

I'll go look and see if anything has changed in mnhttnbb's poll about separating winning from entering. Last time I looked the contributions in offer and discussion were pretty anemic
