(149,517 posts)This is a lovely detail of the arch.
I am admiring the different medallions!
I am puzzled at the color. I see some blue sky, but the arch looks like black and white. Is that its true color, or did you photoshop it?

(19,459 posts)I've been working on processing to b&w by adjusting the saturation and luminosity values in the color channels, rather than simply hitting "black and white" in Lightroom.
The blocks of the arch are a warm sandstone, and all I did was adjust the Orange and Yellow channels to get the effect I wanted. I didn't like the result when I adjusted the Blue and Aqua channels (too much white around the arch) so I left the natural sky with clouds/fog.
