black and white's from Death Valley NP....

I only have a couple so far. The first one is my favorite.

Eagle Borax Works site, looking across Death Valley toward the east, toward Badwater. The mound I stood atop for this photo is the only actual "ruin" of the borax works at the site.

Late winter afternoon, aka 4:00 PM at Badwater Basin, Death Valley NP, California.

And here's another in color, too. Salt crust along West Side Rd., Death Valley NP.

There are more photos, and higher resolutions, at https://mcamann.smugmug.com, including color versions of the first two above. I hope you enjoy them!

These are great, and even though I'm partial to the color one, the others are amazing too.

Thank you for sharing!

It is taking me some effort to wrap my head around the idea of black and white landscapes.

The B&W allows you to see things you might not otherwise see. Textures, shadings and so on.

I still like the color better........after all, we see in living color!
