(22,668 posts)we would call her a CAUTION. She is getting feisty and biting and throws her entire body at me to grab a piece of my clothing to chew. She also barks now. Squeaky barks, but real.
Her joie de vivre is encompassing, then there's the switch and she turns off and deeply sleeps gives me a chance to get some stuff done. Or she lies in her playpen in her colorful soft rags and watches every move I make. As you can tell my life has changed at the moment, and will get integrated again with this pup growing up.
She is precious, and in need of immediate and thorough training

(14,559 posts)I taught my Schnauzer to use her 'inside voice' and praised her when used little growls and woofs instead of full throat-ed barks. Now it's like an E.E. Cummings recital--just a constant stream of doggie consciences.
