(31,411 posts)We usually get to the beach at least once or twice a year here (it's 100 miles away). My favorite beach in NC is Emerald Isle, which faces south, so
the sun coming up over the ocean there is seasonal. Although I've sworn I won't go back until they repeal HB 2 here (not going to spend vacation money in state) and it doesn't look good for a repeal next year. So...don't know when we'll get back.
