I would prefer to have shot this with my camera but a smartphone was all i had at the time. I figured it suitable for the competition but without your help had no clue how to submit it.

From what I can tell those dang smart phones have gotten better at shooting photos. It is a shame that my camera was in the shop for repairs a couple weeks ago on this particular morning. I would rather have shot this with nice Nikon glass as opposed to whatever plastic that phone uses as a lens.

The viewpoint itself is from my brothers back yard, looking directly North. Sometimes conditions allow him to see the entire eastern side of the Olympic Mountains and on very clear days far off Mt. Baker is visable just to the left of those cliffs on the right.
