****MAY Photo Contest--FINALS**** are posted in GD

I want to explain to the photographers (didn't put the explanation in the FINALS thread in GD) that even though I indicated
the top 3 in each of the two preliminary threads would advance to the finals, I decided to include a 7th finalist because I was
concerned that the groupings might have affected the vote totals. It seemed to me that if a photo with more votes (4th) in one
thread had more votes than the 3rd highest in the other, it would be ok to go ahead and put 7 photos in the finals. I hope that's ok with
everyone.

Thank you, mnhtnbb, for taking over for me. I just got back, for an hour or two, to an internet connection. I'm so amazed by every photo submitted. Great work! I probably won't see the final winner for some days, so congratulations in advance.
