Bi-color caladiums in Charleston

We're in Charleston for a few days on our annual excursion to their Spoleto Festival.

The first set of pinks were in a little section of sidewalk landscaping and I took those shots in early evening on our way to dinner last night. The second set of whites were in a window box that I shot on our way to a concert this morning.

Where they get heat and bright reflected sunlight, no direct sun. Now that summer is one with humidity, they are growing fast and tall. Love 'em, no muss, no fuss, and the bulbs can be saved for next year.

Got a wonderful surprise today. Recently bought caladiums from the nursery and noticed this plant had several unopened leaves. Today one of them opened and looks very much like a Jack in the Pulpit in bloom. Love it. Wish I could post a pic. Don't know how to post from Instagram to DU? Is that possible?
