Sepia tones are definitely allowed.
I'm very happy to find you interested in participating. We have all kinds of threads pinned in the photo forum about how to host a contest, plus we hold your hand and guide you through it if you want.
It's only a bit of a growing experience as a challenge the first time. You would be great at it.
I hope to see you enter a photo. Being a part of the photo contest is lots of fun. We are a congenial group and would love new participants.
