Related: About this forumWent down to my local nearby brook to try a new shot for "down by the river"
It's an all but dried up place at the moment. I deleted all but this one shot:
What do you think I captured here?

(18,634 posts)I took one once like that... a single leaf caught in a near-invisible spider silk string. Lovely!

(22,380 posts)It is my birthday today, and the best present I got was Limbaugh getting kicked out of Philadelphia's radio station. But I also liked the little leaf just hanging there...

(22,380 posts)It's too big though. I would ordinarily wait for the host to notice, but he is in Paris at the moment, whereas I sit in my hot kitchen, so you can get a jump on switching it out.
The longest side can only be 800 megapixels. In photobucket this is a relatively easy change to make.

(22,380 posts)Refresh my memory: Are you the person in charge of "Summer"?
Is it coming up soon, I'm sweltering, and can't get any hotter
I was in charge of Winter, but that has come and gone for sure, so we decided to just wait on the seasonals and skip to summer starting Sept 1..
It's 63 degrees here today. Perfect for me.
I'm taking the train to Chicago tomorrow where it is in the 90s. I am not amused. I do not do heat well at all.
