10. It's been a while since that happened.

I remember, but that was years ago, when the contests filled up to 30 so fast I had to hurry to still get a spot! I love this theme. I don't think it has ever been chosen which actually puzzles me.

11. Probably hasn't been chosen as, from what I've seen, a lot of us concentrate on telling stories

with our images.
Of course, abstracts can tell stories, but oftentimes it's a much more difficult path to take.
