Street photography: Crosswalker



I took this on a lunchtime walkabout, the summer before last in Ottawa.

The crosswalk is under about four grey inches of ice and slush right now. The dreams lie buried, but they will rise again!

Although the woman looks fit and trim, I see her type everywhere, but I've never seen a rainbow crosswalk before. That's so cool! Do you know the backstory?

Yes, she's a walking stereotype all right. But she placed herself in a nice graphic frame with lots of leading lines, so we can forgive her, right?

Oh, and she's not "trim" - she's borderline anorexic. IMNSHO.
