Sunset tonight from my balcony




And then the thunderstorm..tried to catch some lightning while the color was still in the sky, but no luck.

10. On the 17th floor of a 23 story high rise

apartment building in downtown Raleigh, NC.

I moved here in March from Chapel Hill. In the middle of a divorce. I walk to everything. Library, Post Office, doctor's office, the ballet, concerts. Lots of restaurants. My regular early am walk with the dog is to the grounds of the State Capitol. There are street fairs almost every weekend. I'm really liking it and it is very different from any living situation I've ever had. The closest would be when I lived on the 10th floor of a dorm my freshman year at UCLA where we had a view of planes taking off and landing in the distance at LAX, but no balcony or floor to ceiling windows, either!
