8. Work-people are coming tomorrow to fix my front gutters.

Know what that means?

Yes - I had to move the bird baby basket. Its usual spot is directly under an eave over which the gutter runs.

The work-people told me to clear the area to prevent damage. So I did.

And while I was moving the basket...

All 5 eggs have hatched.

Yes, I got photos.

As soon as I land on one I like, I'll enter it in the spring contest.

That momma bird is going to poo all over my car now. I know it. She perched on a nearby stake watching me the whole time.

It’s been down since Tuesday, and might be down until Tuesday. I have no land line either.

It’s amazing how much you can get done when not surfing the web. I baked bread, made tabouli, cleaned my room worked in the yard, and caught up on my reading. Hoping to make more pesto, but I have to let my basil recover.

30. Wow. Busy. My basil needs pruning, so to speak.

I've got lots of it. Will be drying some tomorrow. I'll do it the slow way - hanging it in paper bags. Got my empty containers ready.

Will make pesto as well. Not a huge fan myself but my idiot is - I enjoy it but he would wallow in it.
