My Gerbera Daisies are blooming again.

A tad bit unusual in this heat. They usually bloom in the Spring and again in the Fall.

Usually the box is a bunch of green leaves surrounded by impatiens during the summer.

5. Impatiens evoke fond memories

My late father and I made sure that his front walk was a riot of color in the senior village. We hung window boxes on the rails of the walkway. It was the envy of his neighbors.
