Related: About this forumAustins water crisis
This is why Austin is under a boil water order and the city is worried about water shortages> This is where barton creek runs into town lake. normally they are the same color. Due to the excessive rainfall they have had to open the flood gates on some of flood control dams around Austin. This has made the water so muddy that the water department cant filter it fast enough. The water tretment plants are operating at under 20% capacity

When the water settles there will be more nutrients in the lake bed.
