Related: About this forum"The Intrepid Photographer"
The only other soul I saw during this blizzard shoot in north Texas last month. He sprinted out from his van, and sprinted back. Apologized to me on the way to take his shot, but I said "No problem," knowing I'd get this shot.
He probably took five shots with his cell phone. I took about 1000 with two cameras, warming up in my truck every fifteen minutes, or so.

What am I seeing here? Are those colorfully-painted shells of vehicles that have been embedded in the ground?

A work done in 1974 by members of the Ant Farm art group of San Francisco. It is ten Cadillacs buried nose-first in a field outside Amarillo, Texas. The paint changes almost daily (in good weather), as visitors bring cans of spray paint and add to years of paint layers.

I am wondering why you take so many pictures of a single scene ? Is it to capture just the right light as it changes over time ?
