Turkey in the yard!

I was glancing outside to check on the rain (it was pouring) and I saw a few turkeys sauntering through the back yard. They seemed oblivious to the rain. I've had deer and geese in the backyard, and now I can add turkeys to the list. And no, I do not live in a rural area, I live right in town, but there is a ravine close by, and I know that's where the deer come from. The others? Just passing through I guess!

I see them around here maybe three times a year..... saw them crossing the road once when I was driving .... they really do not seem to mind civilization and take their time sauntering by. But they are indeed a stunning sight!

They sure look healthy and well-fed! As well as comfortable in your yard.

They're a great sight!

Although I saw the first Jane Doe in awhile last night, part of the John Deer family. Also have not seen any since last fall.

Great pics!
