A treasure trove!

My sister unearthed a box in her garage that had over 400 color slides taken by my dad from 1952 to 1959. I've just finished copying them to digital and there are some really beautiful shots among them. I'll share a few of the really good ones here once I get them all downloaded from the camera.

I haven't finished organizing them yet, but here are two at random.

These were taken 1952-1953 with a Stereo Realist camera that put two images in the space of one 35mm frame. The slides had to be viewed with a 3D stereo viewer, the "Realist Red Button Viewer". http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stereo_Realist

The slides are tiny compared to 35mm film, and they have been stored in a box in a garage for about 50 years or so.
