It's much more artistic than color.
Did you use a red or yellow filter or was it post filtered?

Actually, a good bit of post processing in this. First step was HDR so the foreground would be visible.
Then converting it to black and white, upping the contrast, doing some Luminar 3 AI enhancements to the sky, and adding some sharpness.

dodging and burning exposure times under a 1940's era enlarger

Thank you, for sharing it. It is breathtaking. It has such a mesmerizing and feel of anticipation like a lull in activity, in the foreground.
The back ground is full of cosmic motion. Very nice.

I actually want to be a 60/40 or 70/30 expat. My genetics are 100% Eastern Europe. First time I was here it just felt right.

I love it when I look out the window and there are beautiful clouds, but the background where I am doesn't have mountains!

If I had one like that I’d submit it every month until it at least got honorable mention.

Great job!

Definitely the reason I got into photography was the "oh my God is that real how did he do that it's so amazingly beautiful" feeling I had at 14 when I first saw an Ansel Adams photo.
