Related: About this forumIt wasn't a Chihuly but a good outing anyway
A close friend is having an exhibit of art work, so I went to see it again to concentrate in quiet and take photos because the first time I was at the opening and could not pay attention.Unless you ask, I wont show the art, but here is what I saw in the stairway to the gallery
and of course I wondered, loving Chihulys work so much
after the show I went outside and just stuck my camera into the weeds at the curb.
Then, living in this wonderful Southern town, I wound my way through an unfamiliar neighborhood, and without totally stopping the car grabbed the camera from the seat to my right to show you this gorgeous Painted Lady

Each one of these is a gem and all together, they make an incredible bunch!
I'd love to see some of your friend's artwork. How could I not?

I very interested in ceramic art. I particularly like glass art.

and thanks for your liking my photo posts as I wander about. Tomorrow I will show you photos of actually TWO shows I went to. Both by friends of mine. It's not that big a town. Winston-Salem, "the city of the Arts" - no longer the city of cigarettes.
