Ya wanna hear somethin' funny?

If you own an OMD camera and you shake it when it's turned off you can hear a floppa floppa noise. That's the sensor moving around un-bound by the electromagnetic field that allows the in body image stabilization to work. Same with the lenses that have image stabilization. Turn the camera on and it all goes quiet as the powerful electromagnets lock movement down. Whoda' thought?

Canon and Nikon both have in lens stabilization. Do they make noise when you shake them?
