Good Saturday Morning, DU'ers,
For those interested in taking a scenic land cruise across Eastern Canada from the comfort of your computer or smartphone, my wife and I often travel by train and thought we might share some pics from the route of VIA Rail's 'Chaleur' which runs from Montreal to Gaspe, Quebec, on Canada's East Coast.
The pics are from my website, https://northamericabyrail.info/
Hope you enjoy!

(171,109 posts)I want to go on a scenic train ride, but not at the moment obviously. I briefly checked out your website; have you taken all those train trips?
I had no idea there were so many routes. Very cool!

(1,809 posts)And yes, I've taken all of those trips shown on my website - those are my pics of the train routes.
By my rough calculations I've traveled about 220,000 kilometers (or about 137,000 miles) on Amtrak and VIA Rail Canada.
Likewise I hope to hit the rails again after the pandemic situation resolves.
Thanks again,
Pete

Thanks again for checking out my pics,
