It's not 'hills', it's a very famous and large landmark you've definitely seen pictures of.

And there's no ice. But there's snow on the landmark

You get the remaining 15 internets I didn't disperse upthread ...

And the water, to be precise, is a spot in the Park called Mirror Lake.

Seems the world is tired of being holed up. It was good to be out again but a little worrying. Would rather be home but can use the money.

Didn’t realize you’d taken the photo - excellent! Yosemite is a place I dream of visiting someday.

I did my best.

Actually I didn't ... I got out the car, whipped out my 5 year old Samsung S5 phone, hit 'Camera', then hit click ... and this is exactly what came of it.

Honestly you hit the Valley on a day that's this perfect, you need zero photography skills to take beautiful pictures.

Basically the job is already done for you.

I love the reflection in the lake, and the picture captures some premium color. There’s a thumb (bottom right) and forefinger (bottom left) shadow in the picture as well—adding subconscious human interest. Well done!

My answer was spontaneous, however, and I had not read those before making my post.

But I realized it was Half Dome and was up to that point unaware that they were two different structures, I've never been there.
