Waxing Crescent Moon on June 25, 2020.

Without question, one of the most difficult photos I've ever taken. Why? The angle of view was nearly straight overhead. I could not see it through my lens at all. I took this hand-held, no cable release. Our skies have been extremely cloudy in the evenings.

There is a lot to be said for taking a single subject and dedicating yourself to it.

I just did that with macro cause I got a new toy but I'm not the most creative photographer around. I'll admit to being a better than average technician but not so much a creative image maker. I'll soon master the technical aspects of the sport and move on to something else. Your dedication to one subject is both admirable and engaging and I look forward to whatever you offer up next.🌜

As usual, you are too kind. And you're selling yourself short!

Your creativity continually astonishes me, plus you're a great technician. I envy you your skills.

I may look dedicated, but it's more that I'm compelled. I'm looking forward to whatever I offer up next too!

Thank you so much.

It's a lovely thought, but there are way too many much better photographers out there!

I'm trying to identify the dark spot [sea or crater] near the 'top', my guess would be Mare Crisium according to the wikipedia upload below, but I know next to nothing about astronomy.

Excellent photo, great job!
