There! I fixed it.

My entry in the Spring contest has been driving me crazy. There were two things that just nagged at me. First there was a little dark spot on the cactus bloom in the upper left corner that shouldn't be there and second the bee's front right leg (on the left as you view it) looks like it's growing out of his mouth.

I moved his front leg and cleaned up the spot. Below is the original for comparison.

You see, I suffer from CDO. It's like OCD but the letters are in the right order.[/i mg]

I might have been annoyed by it as well. But I thought that what you refer to as a leg was actually its tongue. I was taking pictures of a butterfly this morning and made me think of that. I hadn't noticed it when deciding what to vote for in the contest though.

But not bees. I've got lots of bee head shots and none of them show an appendage like that. Besides, I can see the upper portion of the leg which is where I grafted the amputated leg back onto.

He's recovering comfortably at home . . .

All the pollinator type tongues I've ever seen are long and thin.

glad I don't.

Sorry that my daughter does, and also a friend, but I'll live with it/them!
