Sunday Morning on Falls Lake, Raleigh NC...every trip is different!

That last one was taken just after removing the lenscap - it was so humid, the lens steamed up immediately...by the time the lens dried, the Bald Eagle was gone!

while paddling down the river.

I'm a rower (and at times a paddler) and a coxswain in addition to (ahem) being a photographer. But I am not given many opportunities to take photos while in the boat, although on occasion I do take a camera along.

It pains me so many times seeing the missed photo opportunities, but hey, I get to row on a most amazing river, so I acquiesce.

though I did tip once and ruin my first Canon digital zoom camera! I am two cameras removed from that - this one as a 20 zoom, newer one a 35 - but don't typically risk that one!
