This is growing next to my driveway, and when I came home today from shopping for dinner, I noticed how the sun was hitting the plant.

The photo is the result!

There are categories of images: contests/calendars, informational, educational and wall art. They all have criteria. Notably contests/calendars need PUNCH! with bright colors, excruciatingly sharp detail and grab-you-by-the-collar attention while wall art has to be lived with; soft and comfortable, soothing. This is all that.

Ya did good Peg. We all need to keep looking, the images are there for those who see.

Thank you so much! Now and then, I do it right. This was one of those times.

I was pulling into my driveway and I saw how the sunlight looked on this spiky plant. That was all it took.

I love to look.

It was a lucky catch -- I was in the right place at the right time.
