POD ... Edy's Dolls .. Brad never saw them

Taken almost 30 years ago, Kodak IR, 35mm.

Edy was Brad's mom, Brad was one of my shooting buddies and I went to his house for the first time to pick him up for an outing. As he was giving me the obligatory house tour I freaked out when I passed this room.

Brad had walked past that room every day. He asked, "what?"

"Don't you see it? Oh my God!", I replied. "This is wild."

Only having my Minolta 1000DTL, loaded with IR (we were intending to go out to shoot landscape) I took 1 frame. After printing the neg, I showed Brad and he freaked too.

When we become inured, we sometimes miss the important things.

3. dolls are so damned creepy..when my dtr was small she NEVER got dolls.When mom passed I was cleaning

..her house and found the 3 foot doll she gave me for xmas once. OUT it went! I was on a storm chase and we spent the night at a quaint motel in middle America and the owners wife had decorated all the rooms and i got the one with the damned DOLLS!! Hubby and I immediately put them all out into the hallway. Damned Dolls.

I will chase tornadoes but I wont do dolls...

They gave me nightmares. Their jerky movements, dead eyes and mocking laugh Haunt me.
