I should add that some sites write their code to make copying images/image URLs next to impossible. Make7 Sep 2020 #9

There is a little arrow at the top right, click that, it will show copy. Take to the board, click, it will come on.

For articles, click the URL at the top of the page. I am not good at partial articles. Maybe some one else can help.

Mac:

Hold Control key down, click image, select 'Copy Image Address'

Mobile device:

Press and hold image, select copy, paste into DU post
(Sometimes you first need to paste that into the address bar of a new tab to get the image URL in older iOS versions, then copy and paste that into the DU post.)

BTW - I highly recommend people get the iCab Mobile browser for iOS devices (I think it costs two dollars). There is a 'Copy Address (Photo)' option when pressing and holding.

So it may not seem to work for particular websites – and some websites don't serve up images in the normal way (e.g. Facebook), which means an image address obtained may not work as intended when copied elsewhere.

I wish they would make things less complicated.
