Mike SoE inspired me to deviate from high pass sharpen which is one of my pre-sets

to the other end of the spectrum. I may just have a new pre set.

1. Well, you have outdone yourself, my dear flamin lib!

This is gorgeous!

The composition is first-rate as well.

2. I've striven so hard for so long to achieve the sharpest possible results

that I had become blind to the feeling that a soft image can elicit. Mike's last post really struck me with the misty sort of soft feeling of the flowers against the rust barbed wire that I had to hit the archives and try to find something that would generate the same kind of affect on me. I guess sometimes ya' gotta' just pull yer' head out and look around.

This could have been a good entry for the Summer contest 'cause Bougainvillea is definitely a summer bloom.

4. It's called "Photo Babble".

During the height of Star Trek the script would often call for Techno Babble during a sequence that called for engineering or weapons use. "Captain Kirk says, 'We're under attack, get us out of here!' whereupon Scotty would talk about di-lithium crystals and diverting power from phasers to the warp engines.

ETA, Thank you for the kind words and compliment.

5. Ah yes ... and what a lovely photo

Soft filters and split screen ND filters were my best fiends before digital ... and they still are.
