Of course I over processed them. I think I was inspired by the opening sequences of “6 Feet Under.”

When do you plant them? Do you seed them then plant the seeds, or do you put the whole seed head in the ground?

I decided to do them in HDR. It has made them brighter, and with a minimum of processing the brilliant colors came through. Not a big fan of HDR, but it seems to work for this. Using a manual lens seems to be OK.
