Nothing better than a cuppa Joe and your sweet fur child add going out on a beautiful morning to walk together, I'd call that perfect.

(31,989 posts)I get to do that every morning, so I am indeed very lucky.

(12,463 posts)And it's great.
I cook my breakfast and Feed my furbaby, and check DU. With a cup.
I really like my coffee to be good quality. Good quality cheese ,tea and coffee are the 3 things I splurge on.

(31,989 posts)And I agree with you on the rest. I am also picky about apples, tomatoes, well, most produce.
Bet your fur baby likes to cuddle on your lap while you check DU.

What kind of coffee do you like? I like light roast you can taste the beans that way, flavor is more complex. Amore coffee is good,so is blonde Starbucks.

(31,989 posts)I dont care for a real dark roast, either.
My everyday go-to is Eight O Clock whole bean, which I grind in my coffee grinder.
For a splurge occasionally I buy Peets Big Bang
I like coffee with that fruity undertone.

(31,989 posts)Although if you find a place that sells coffee from different countries, I have never been disappointed with anything from Kenya or Ethiopia.
Good luck! Let me know if you find anything interesting!

(14,559 posts)in this one. My personal taste runs to the dark roast with chocolate undertones sometimes sweetened with a splash of Kalua. I've got to use filtered water as our city supply is, while safe, nasty tasting.
Ohiogal
(31,989 posts)But that splash of Kailua sounds interesting ....

(14,559 posts)However the best is Amaretto on vanilla ice cream with a sprinkling of toasted slivered almonds and a sprig of regular mint. Talk about romance served in a martini glass . . .
