What an extraordinary photo. SO beautiful, so organic, even though these creatures are dead.

Even in death, their beauty is amazing.

Thank you!

good at 30x40 and I just may split for having it printed to that size. It's on display as an 8.5x11 framed to 11x14 in my gallery.

I didn’t want to move any of my favorite art for that length of time but didn’t think I could do without any art. Even posters if framed aren’t cheap.

That’s when I cam up with the idea to take photos of some of my favorite pieces and have them printed on canvas by Vista Print. They run sales pretty frequently so not too expensive. Sorry for the fuzzy photo, just wanted to give you an idea of the sizes you can get very easily.

The frame is 20x40 and the picture(s) for the Cayenne Pepper are 13x19. The shells don't lend themselves to this treatment although I might break them into 4 prints matted into one frame. It might work. It would look good over a sofa or headboard.

This is one wall of my gallery, still working on the other wall. The hard part is sorting through 7,000 images over 50 years to select a dozen or so . . .

Tech notes: I resized the 16 meg image to 32 meg for the pepper and even a pixel peeper needs a magnifying glass to find any pixelation. The latest editing software uses AI to interpolate how to fill the 'empty' spaces between the original pixels and is amazing. It won't get any sharper but if it's sharp to start with it sure doesn't lose anything!

If you hadn't told me they were shells, I would guess they were little crocheted pillows. So texture-y!
