Related: About this forumSo who here doesn't love KITTENS?
Since my wife and I do kitten rescue (we specialize in bottle babies) it is my job to feed and scoop and also take photos while she takes care of the public relations.
These 3 we took in at 2 weeks old. The photo is from 7 weeks and on Friday they go in for spaying and neutering then off to their new caregivers. We found homes for 2 and the one on the left, we are keeping. Her name is Grace. and the name suits her well.
The following 4 are from a neighbor who is fostering and I post them as I spent quite a bit of time trying to get some decent shots.
They are about 8 weeks old and didn't sit still for a second let alone 1/60. Tech specs available upon request.
And as a side note ... on Monday evening we took in 4 more, almost 4 weeks old and ready to start weaning and litter training. Be forewarned, pictures will be posted.

(383 posts)We are in Washington state and would drive anywhere in Washington or Oregon. Are you (crossed fingers) in this part of the country?

(1,576 posts)I do have family in WA though. I have asked my brother if he wanted a new cat and he declined. Plenty of shelters everywhere though so you really don't need to do much driving.

(1,639 posts)And even I cannot resist the charms of kittens! Thank you for the photos. I have passed a few along to a friend whose life will not be complete until she has a cat of her own. (Husband doesn't want the competition.)
I was partial to the calico in the second image, but I made a joke to my friend about the black and white one in the third picture.
We had been talking about Daniel Day-Lewis and his intense blue eyes. I said that the kitten in the third shot would grow up to be the Daniel Day-Lewis of cats. Ohh, baby!
