(7,911 posts)There's that one little leaf about 3/4 of the way up the twig that looks out of place...
Seriously, it's an amazing shot.

(9,850 posts).....i need to perfect a few more things and then create a repeatable process that i can use for frogs, insects, small reptiles and invertebrates and i might do nature photography workshops for tourists down here in my studio in the rain forest.
the challenges are getting ample light from the speedlights/modifiers while avoiding hot spots and also getting enough depth of field by either using smaller apertures (no loss of image quality with nikon, canon or sony pro macro lenses, even at f/32 or smaller) or getting the animals to pose so that more of their body is in, or close to, the focal plane.
i'm also planning on building two elevated hides for birds and monkeys (one in the primary forest and one in the secondary forest) on my property to allow for national geographic quality shots of toucans, trogons, currasows, squirrel monkeys, howler monkeys and white faced capuchins, etc with a 300mm lens or less.
