(130,903 posts)Moon's too hi for me to catch, as can't even stick my head out due to fierce winds!

(149,615 posts)The winds will get you when the clouds don't! I've had my camera shake and deliver blurry photos in windy conditions. Bummer!

(15,325 posts)Every year, every night of our life, the sky remains a constant, inspiring gift & a very cool place to admire.
Thanks for the pic.
Well done!

(149,615 posts)I agree with your sentiments. There is nearly always something beautiful to see.
I've posted a lot of moon photos; I always worry that I overdo it, and then I read your comment. Thank YOU.

(15,325 posts)I grew up in the country, dark night sky with no city or street lights. Early on, we knew the Constellations, the sweeping Milky Way & the Northern Lights that were never ever the same. some danced, wore different colors & some would streak high from the dark horizon & some moved in a wave or a pulse.
Living & growing up smack-dab in the middle of nowhere, it was the night sky that treated us to something different everytime we looked up.
For all the nights & seasons, watching the show of the Northern Lights, not once did we ever take it for granted.
It is just the coolest thing.
So, yes please do keep posting your pics.
Thanks,
a fan 🙂

We are of profound good faith too! To everything, there is a season...
