It's no longer a photograph but I found it interesting, didn't say good,

what happens when noise is no longer the enemy but whole point. If you run it through the sharpen filter enough it becomes something else. Some sort of graphic arts exercise?

And I think it was sand in trays. Object was to see the effect of sound on matter. It has been years since I read it, but your post reminded me of his work.

As I recall, what he found was Sanskrit caused the sand to actually form the Sanskrit character or words. Fascinating!

Yes indeed it brings out a very graphic quality

It works nicely with your bright red flowers! Almost looks like an art print!

Love the textures!

It reminds me of glitter applied to flowers. It has that kind of effect.
