It looks like this just might happen, a cellphone/camera hybrid!

It appears to be optimized for vloging which makes sense for the potential market but it neatly fits between the smart phone and camera worlds.

My first reaction was "oh another gimmick". But reading through their FAQ, at least the design philosophy and the practical implementation looks good.
