Mount Rainier at Tipsoo Lake

I've been looking everywhere for this photo, and today I found it -- here on my laptop! I took it when I was a pre-teenager, eons ago. A simple B&W photo. I hope to someday get back to this location so I can take another shot.

It looks like a picture postcard, Peggy!

It would be really neat to visit the same spot again and take the same shot, as you said. See if anything looks different. I’ll bet a color photo would really pop.

One year, we did get back.........and the road was CLOSED, due to snow! And it was August!

I really want to do this and someday, I will.

3. It might make you sad the glaciers on Rainier all show significant melting...

I climbed Rainier in July 2010 and then was back about the same time last summer. I was somewhat unhappy to see how far down the glaciers were. Yes, it was late summer but still.

4. I'm sure that will happen. I've seen photos of other mountains where it's happened.

It is very sad. But I still want to go back.

It was MANY decades ago!

Now, I am old.

But I am a relative newcomer to digital photography. I didn't take my first digital photo until 2005.

You are too funny!

Its 20 years older than you are right now... So when you were say 10 years old, some one who 30 was Old. When i was 40 someone 60 was old.... Now that I'm 71, some one 91 is OLD❗️
I think its all about Einsteins theory of relativity..... its all relative😁

I am 77. At least, my body is. My mind is still young!

It is definitely all relative!
