I recall a vacation in Puerto Vallarta when the sun was low in the west and large breakers like this rolled in. I could see the sand settling through the wave.

That must have been quite the experience, seeing the sand settling through the wave.
The translucency of the water is the real object of the photo. It's magic to me.
