It's a flowering ornamental pear tree! They bloom like crazy every year, at about this time.

We're not exactly real warm these days, but compared to most of the country, we are! It's getting into the low '60's, with nights in the 40's.

When there's no wind, I can go out without a jacket, which is a plus!

Even though our temperatures aren't that low, it's not spring here either. These trees bloom in the winter, every year.

Will snow all day tomorrow with temps in the low single digits Monday and Tuesday.

That's cold even for here! And the snow will actually last awhile as high temps won't get above freezing for the next 10 days which is as far as my forecast goes.

At least I may get the rare Texas snow pictures!

We are in the middle of a deep freeze, although it's one above (feels balmy) the feel like temp is -15. Just threw a couple logs in the fireplace and will hunker down for the evening!
