so, anyone here thinking of doing a book?

mentioned this in a thread by the former demotex.
i badly want to add a real book to my portfolio. i am a certified designer, from the school of the art institute. but it is a side gig. my real job is my farm.
i dearly love the work tho. i am good, i am passionate, and i am quick.

i have done lots of booklets, but never a full blown book. i have been dogging several photogs i know irl to do it. 1 guy told me i had the job, but wont get his ass in gear to call me and close the deal.

not sure why the idea of a photo book seems so good to me, but...
guess cuz there is less typing. tho the best ones have a mix.
copywriting is also a thing i am good at, as well as editing.

anyway, willing to work for chump change and a cut.

About as far as I got. It'd be vanity publishing and a bit expensive for good quality images.

2. Are you talking about using a mass publisher...

or just looking to make 2-3 copies for friends and family?
